Did you know on both of the Project Medius and Knight House projects we introduced a fire foam that does not require intumescent packers?
The feedback from our installers was that the intumescent packers used with other fire foam brands are brittle and take more time to install.
Being able to use standard plastic packers resulted in a more efficient and clean installation not to mention happier operatives! The foam meets BS476: Part 22 & BS EN 1634-1: 2014 + A1:2008. The foam was accepted by the QA and spec compliance managers of the respective main contractors.
