Paul has a passion for construction being the fourth generation of the family to own their own construction related business following in the footsteps of his great grandfather (Demolition Business) and his Grandfather and Father who owned a Roofing Business all based in and around the Loughborough Area.
Before starting his own business in 2009 Paul worked as a Senior Estimator for main contractor Morgan Sindall for over 5 years where he was responsible for putting together bids for projects up to £40million in value, before that he was an Estimator/QS for smaller regional contractor Frudd Construction where he spent over 9 years working his way up from Assistant Estimator/Surveyor to Senior level. It was here where he met his current Business Partner Adam Frudd. Paul and Adam having always worked in the construction industry can draw on wide ranging experience working for and alongside large private construction companies and national PLC principle contractors who together form a great partnership to lead and grow their own business.
During his time working with Main Contractors, Paul has gained invaluable knowledge and insight into what makes a good relationship work between main contractors and their supply chain and as a Director/Owner of Pure Joinery he passionate about delivering first class service at all times to their clients.
Outside of work Paul is happily married to wife Joanna and a father to two children Emily and Jacob, Paul loves to spend time with his family on holidays and breaks away but also likes spending time with family and friends at home.
Paul is an avid Leicester City fan who tries to follow his team where possible but doesn’t go to see them as much as he used too due to family commitments. Paul also likes to play golf in his spare time and travels to Portugal annually for a golf trip. Paul would love one day to own a place in Portugal for his family and friends to enjoy.
