Rikki has worked in the construction industry for over 16 years since starting his career as site carpenter and progressing through site management roles to his current position as an operations manager.
During this period in the industry Rikki has gained considerable knowledge of the construction industry working on various types of projects ranging from refurbishment and renovation, heritage works to large new build projects. These values of these works range from £50k – £13.5m.
As a manager Rikki’s key responsibilities and expertise is in site operations including programming and organising the operations of the site operatives, quality assurance, health and safety, progress reporting to the client, cost management on site.
Rikki gained experience working for large construction companies such as Morgan Sindall and Stepnell. This knowledge of how the larger companies operate and their requirements regarding compliance, health and safety etc is of huge benefit to Pure Joinery as these types of business are our clients.
Another area Rikki is very proactive in is cooperation and collaboration with other trades and site personnel. He strongly feels that with effective communication and planning with everyone on the site, all operations will run more efficiently, and it maximises the chance of the programme being met or bettered. The cost benefits of this approach are advantageous to all.
Away from work Rikki spends much if his spare time divided between his family and coaching Junior Football. Rikki also enjoys playing football………………………………………………………………….. anything to expand in this section mate
